Ingredients

– pillsbury hot roll mix  – hot water – butter – egg – dried cranberries

Add the roll mix and yeast to a bowl. Stir in the butter, 1 egg, and hot water. Mix with a fork or use your hands until the dough forms.

How to Make Russian Easter Bread

Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for up to 3 minutes. It should be smooth. You may need to add a tad bit more flour.

Flatten the dough and add the dried cranberries on top of the dough. Fold the dough in thirds and place it in a lightly greased bowl.

Place a clean towel over the top of the dough and let it rest for at least 5 minutes. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Divide the bread dough into fourths. Place each fourth into a bread mold and then place the molds full of dough on a baking sheet.
