Ingredients – Boneless skinless chicken breasts – Sweet onion – Minced garlic – Potatoes – Sliced carrots – Celery stems

Instructions In your pot add a teaspoon of butter and let it melt. Put in the chicken breasts and cook them for about 30 minutes until fully cooked. Once done, cut it into small pieces.

Next, add the onion and cook for about 10 minutes. Add 1/4 of the water and 4 bullion cubes. Simmer for 3 minutes then break up the bullion into the water.

Put the carrots, celery, corn, potatoes, black beans, Santa fe medley, green chiles, stewed tomatoes, and the rest of the water. Stir.

Then add the chili powder, cumin, garlic salt, salt, and brown sugar. Stir and boil.

Once boiling, turn the heat to low and simmer for 2 hours. You'll want to stir every once in a while.

Put a little bit of the chowder into a small pot and cool. You can then add in more seasonings if needed. You'll want to cook in those seasonings for about 15 minutes to really enhance the flavor.

Then add in the minced garlic and cook for about 10 minutes. Serve chowder!
