How to Make Warm Caramel Apple Cake

Heat oven to 350 degrees. In a saucepan, cook butter, heavy cream, and brown sugar over low heat.

Stirring occasionally until butter melts. Pour mixture into a 13x9 inch cake pan.

Sprinkle with pecans and cover with apple slices.

In a large bowl, beat cake mix, water, oil, eggs, and spices with an electric mixer. Beat for 3 minutes.

Carefully spoon batter over the apples. Bake for 40 minutes or until the toothpick comes out clean.
