Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Add parchment paper to a baking sheet.
Beat the butter and shortening with a mixer in a mixing bowl. Add the brown sugar, white sugar, and baking soda and beat until fluffy and light.
Add the vanilla extract and egg and beat.
Add 1/2 of the flour and beat to combine. Stir in the rest of the flour until it is mixed.
Add the caramel bits, chocolate chips, and chopped peanuts. Stir.
Use a cookie scoop or a rounded tablespoon of the dough and put each ball on the baking sheet. Be sure to leave 3-4 inches between each one.
Halve the mini Snickers and press a half into the top of each cookie dough ball.
Put the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 8 minutes or until the cookie bottoms are golden brown.
Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then move to a wire rack to cool all the way.
