Stir in the butter, 1 egg, and hot water. Mix with a fork or use your hands until the dough forms.
Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for up to 3 minutes. It should be smooth. You may need to add a tad bit more flour.
Flatten the dough and add the dried cranberries on top of the dough. Fold the dough in thirds and place it in a lightly greased bowl.
Place a clean towel over the top of the dough and let it rest for at least 5 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Divide the bread dough into fourths.
Place each fourth into a bread mold and then place the molds full of dough on a baking sheet.
Place in the oven and bake for 30 minutes. After the bread is cooked and dried, you can remove the paper molds.
Mix the egg whites with 1/2 cup of sugar to make the icing. Whisk on medium speed and slowly add the rest of the sugar, 1/2 cup at a time. (if too thick, add a few drops of water)
Once the bread is cooled, pour the icing over the top and add the sprinkles.
