Ingredients

large heads cauliflower
cut into 4 different 1-inch thick slices

extra virgin olive oil
1½
T.
Italian seasoning
2-3
finely minced garlic cloves
¼
tsp
of crushed red pepper flakes
¼
Cup(s)
of freshly grated Parmesan cheese
divided
Sea salt and black pepper
to taste
Instructions
Put the oven rack in the center position and preheat to 400 degrees. Add parchment paper to a baking sheet. Set aside.
Whisk the olive oil, garlic, Italian seasoning, and crushed red pepper flakes in a bowl.
Put the sliced cauliflower on the baking sheet and brush with the olive oil mixture on both sides.
Sprinkle 1/2 of the parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper.
Place the pan in the oven and roast for 15 minutes. Take out of the oven and carefully flip the "steak.
Add the rest of the parmesan cheese and a little bit more of the salt and pepper.
Put the pan back into the oven and roast for another 15-20 minutes. Do this until the cauliflower is fork-tender and browned nicely.
Remove from the oven and serve.
