Red Velvet Brownies:

stick unsalted butter
melted

Cream Cheese Frosting:
4
oz
1/2 brick cream cheese, softened

1/2 stick butter, softened

teaspoon
vanilla extract

powdered sugar

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Melt butter and mix next nine ingredients.
Fold in flour.
Line an 8x8 metal pan with parchment paper and lightly spray with nonstick cooking spray.
Pour batter into pan and bake for 30-35 minutes.
Allow to cool completely before icing.
Icing Directions:
Add the softened cream cheese and butter to a large mixing bowl.
With an electric mixer, mix on medium speed for about 2 minutes or until light and fluffy.
Mix in the vanilla, milk, and powdered sugar.
Generously apply the cream cheese icing to the cooled brownies.

Notes
These red velvet brownie are delicious with a cream cheese frosting or just some cool whip spread on top.
