Instructions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees
Wash the potatoes thoroughly, then cut them into cubes no bigger than an inch. Put the potatoes on the NON-reflective side of the foil. Cut the butter into slices and put it on top of the potatoes. Season with onion, salt, and pepper as you like (I would take it easy, though everyone’s taste is different).
Bring up the sides of the foil and roll them together, then do the same with the other sides. This should make a pouch that looks like this. Shake the pouch a little to distribute the seasonings and butter.
Place the pouch on a cookie sheet and bake in the oven for 40-45 minutes. Open one end of the pouch VERY CAREFULLY because there will be a lot of steam, and it can burn you, and pour the potatoes into a bowl. You are done. Go have fun and watch everyone devour your potatoes!
