Instructions
Put 2 tablespoons of butter into the Instant Pot and hit saute.
Put in the onions and saute.
Next, add in 6 tablespoons of butter and let melt.
Whisk the milk into the cornstarch and pour it into the Instant Pot with the onions. Add in the chicken broth and half and half.
Put in the ham, carrots, potatoes, garlic powder, and pepper.
Place on the lid of the Instant Pot and set it on high pressure for 6 minutes.
Once the time is up, quick release and remove the lid once the pressure has released.
Stir in sour cream slowly followed by the cheese.
Serve!
