Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Spray a donut pan with nonstick spray.
Melt the butter in a saucepan on the stove. Let it cook until you see browned bits forming, and you start to smell a nutty flavor.
Put the browned butter into a mixing bowl and add the brown sugar. Whisk to combine.
Add the whipped cream and egg and whisk to smooth.
Stir in the baking powder and flour and whisk. This will form a pancake batter texture and thickness.
Put the mixture into a piping bag and cut off the end. Pipe the batter into the donut pan cavities, filling 3/4 full.
Put the pan in the oven and bake for 14 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
As the donuts bake, make the glaze. Put the powdered sugar in a bowl, and add the heavy cream and apple flavoring. Whisk until smooth. (it will be thick) If it is too thick, add more cream or milk, 1 teaspoon at a time.
Add the green food dye and stir.
Once the donuts are done baking, take the pan out of the oven and remove the donuts.
Place them onto a wire cooling rack for 15 minutes.
After the donuts have cooled, dip the donuts into the glaze and set the donut back onto the cooling rack to firm. Add a red heart on top.
