Melt the candy according to the directions on the package. Don't overhead, but if you do happen to overheat, you can add 2 teaspoons of coconut oil or vegetable oil to thin it out. (Don't use any other type of liquid or it will seize the candy and harden it)

Pour the melted candy coating over 2/3 of the pretzel rod and shake to remove excess. Add sprinkles immediately and rotate the Preztel rod to coat.

Put the coated pretzels on waxed paper or a color rack.

If you decide to add additional candy melts to the rods, let the first coating set completely. Then you can melt and drizzle with a fork to coat.

Let the pretzel rods set up completely before serving or storing.
