Frosting Ingredients:
2Cup(s)of softened salted butter
1- 3.4ouncebox of French Vanilla Instant Puddingdivided
4ouncesof softened cream cheese
⅔Cup(s)milkdivided
3tablespoonshalf and halfyou may or may not need
4Cup(s)powdered sugar
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Line a cupcake pan with the cupcake liners.
Add the cake mix, half of the pudding, and 1/3 cup of milk to a large mixing bowl.
Add the water, eggs, and oil and mix on medium speed using a hand mixer.
Add the cupcake batter into the liners, 2/3 full. Put the pan in the oven and bake for 18-20 minutes or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean. Let the cupcakes cool down all the way.
To make the frosting, mix the rest of the pudding and milk in a bowl.
In a different bowl, cream the cream cheese and the butter until light and fluffy.
Stir in the pudding/milk mixture.
Slowly add the powdered sugar 1 cup at a time until it is nice and creamy and peaks form. Add 1-3 tablespoons of the half and half between the cups of powdered sugar as needed.
Add the frosting into a piping bag and frost the cooled cupcakes. Add the sprinkles!
