Instructions
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.
Add parchment paper to a baking sheet.
Mix the salt, white sugars, baking powder, baking soda, and spices together in a bowl, using a whisk.
Add the cubed butter and blend with a fork or pastry cutter. The butter needs to be crumbly and pea-sized.
In a different bowl, add the egg, pumpkin puree, vanilla, honey, and buttermilk. Whisk.
Go back to the bowl with the dry ingredients and make a well in the middle. Pour the wet pumpkin mixture into the well.
Fold together until a dough has formed.
Place the dough onto a clean surface, but don't need it. Simply form the dough into a round disc and flatten it lightly.
Cut the disc into 6 triangle shapes.
Place each scone onto the baking sheet and brush each piece with half and half.
Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 13-15 minutes or until browned lightly on top.
Take out of the oven and let the scones cool for about 5 minutes or so.
To make the glaze, mix the half and half and powder sugar in a bowl. Whisk.
In a different bowl, make the pumpkin drizzle by adding the powder sugar, and spices to a different bowl.
Once the scones are cooled down, glaze with the vanilla glaze.
Then, drizzle the pumpkin glaze on top.
Let the glaze harden and enjoy!
