Ingredients
1Cup(s)of water
3Tbrown sugar
3Cup(s)of flour
1.5tspbread machine yeast/active dry yeast
For boiling the water:
8Cup(s)of water
½Cup(s)of baking soda
Everything Bagel Seasoning
Instructions
Put the ingredients into the bread machine in the order listed on the bread machine directions.
Push the dough setting. Make certain that there is enough water during the first cycle. You might need to add in a couple of warm tablespoons at that time.
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees. Put parchment paper on the baking sheet and spray with cooking spray.
Once the dough is done, punch it down and take it out of the machine and put on a lightly flour surface.
Divide the dough in 8 pieces and roll in long strands that are about 20 inches long. Roll and make them into pretzels.
Bring the water to a boil in a stock pot and stir in the baking soda. Put in the pretzels, only two at a time, and let boil for 10-15 seconds. Remove with a slotted spatula and put them on the baking sheet. Sprinkle with seasoning and bake them for 8-12 minutes in the oven.
