1Cup(s)of confectioners’ sugar
1-2Tof milk
4-6ouncesof white fondant
cookie cutter2 inches in size
2-3ouncesof blue fondant
toothpick
Green frosting
Instructions
Once the cupcakes are done baking, let them cool. While they are cooling, it's time to make the frosting.
Put the sugar, butter, and milk into a bowl.
Beat them with a mixer starting on low and increasing to high.
Once semi-stiff peaks form, the buttercream is ready.
Put it into a piping bag with a round icing tip.
Next, roll out the white fondant to be 1/4 inch thick.
Take the round cookie cutter and cut out 12 circles.
Add a bit of the buttercream to the back of the circles and stick them on top of each cupcake.
To make the bowtie, roll out 2 spheres of blue fondant about 1/2 inch each.
Flatten them a little bit to make them look like a teardrop.
Lay them side by side with the points facing each other.
Take a tiny bit of the blue fondant and flatten it. Put that in the middle of the two other teardrop shapes.
Grab a toothpick and make two lines on each side of the bowtie.
Use the toothpick to spread the buttercream on the back of the bowtie and then put it in the middle of the cupcake.
Use a Wilson #4 tip to add the green frosting to decorate. Enjoy!
