These 4th of July Chocolate Chip Cheesecake bars are just what you need to beat the heat! One bite and you’ll be hooked and wanting more.

Ingredients

– butter – eggs – vanilla – unbleached flour – sugar

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

How to Make 4th of July Chocolate Chip Cheesecake Bars

Mix all the wet ingredients for the cookie dough. Add in all dry ingredients. Fold in chocolate chips. Line a 9-inch square baking dish with parchment paper.

Press a little more than half of the cookie dough into the pan lined with parchment paper. Press down firmly to create an even base.

In a medium size mixing bowl, beat cream cheese well. Mix in the sugar and beat until combined.

Add in the vanilla and egg and beat until smooth. Pour the cheesecake mixture over the top of the cookie dough base.
