Tender Slow Cooker Pork Tacos

I love these Slow Cooker Pork Tacos! It’s my favorite carnitas recipe to make. There’s nothing quite like the taste and flavor of a perfectly cooked taco. I’m a huge fan of taco recipes and I always love making up this one in the crockpot.

I used to always make my boneless pork shoulder meat in the pressure cooker, but I love how tender it is this way. Makes it super simple to shred the pork. Get ready to love this simple taco recipe! Perfect for Taco Tuesday!

If you use your slow cooker a lot, you know that it’s a low and slow process. But the end result of flavor? Totally worth it! Sometimes I’ll add some extra garlic powder or chili powder to the pork butt to change up the flavor and taste. Just depends on what I feel like that day!

Ingredients – Pork roast – Water – Onion – Cumin – Pepper – Salt – Cajun spice

Instructions: Make criss cross cuts along the top areas of the pork roast. Rub in the spices.

Put the pork in the crockpot along with the water and the onion.

Set the heat on low and cook for 8 hours.

Once done, take the pork out of the crockpot and shred it with a fork. Add to tortillas and add toppings.
