Soothing Lavender Oatmeal Soap Recipe

This Lavender Oatmeal Soap Recipe is the perfect way to make homemade lavender soap.

Once you add the lavender, you’re going to LOVE the look and smell. It just might be your new favorite way to make your very own soap at home.

Materials – ¾ pound melt & pour goats milk soap base – 4 ounces of finely ground rolled oats – 1 T dried lavender flowers – 10 drops of lavender essential oil – Silicone soap mold – measuring cup – Wooden stir stick

Instructions 1. Grind up the oats with a ninja, rolling pin, etc. 2. Cut the soap into chunks that are about 1 inch in size. Put in the microwave and melt for 30 seconds and then stir. Melt in 10-second increments after that.

Pour the oats into the melted soap and stir

- Add in the lavender essential oil and stir. - Pour into the mold.

-  Add 1/2 of the flowers and stir with the stick. -  Put some more flowers on the very top.

- Leave it to harden for up to 3 hours or so. -  Take out of the mold and cut into bars.
