Glue, Scissors (or paper cutter)
Instructions
If you’re working with little ones, cut some red stripes out of the construction paper. I made mine about 1/2 an inch and that seemed to be a good length. If you have a paper cutter like mine, just slide the paper to the edge of the cutter and slice away. This will give you a good width.
Next, give your child a glue stick and show them how to place the stripes. If you have older kids, you could just show them the American flag and let them figure out the placement themselves.
Once all the stripes are “in place”, cut a little blue square out and glued it in the corner.
Now comes the fun part: Stickers! I just used the standard 4 color star stickers. You can find them in Walmart or any office supply store.
