Split the frosting between three bowls. Add a tad bit more to one of the bowls than the other two.
For the bowls with lesser frosting, add the blue dye to one, and the red dye to the other. 3-5 drops typically, and then mix to combine.
Put a piping tip in the piping bag and cut a small hole with scissors to bring the tip out of the bag's corner.
Put each color of frosting in its own bag.
Set aside.
Clean and slice the strawberries.
Place the charcuterie board on the table and pipe the white frosting and squeeze out a medium size dot close to the top of the board. This is the top of the star.
Pipe more dots below the first dot. This will make the size of your star. For reference, I did 5 dots below the first one. Next, pipe dots going across. These will be the side of the star. Then pipe two lines of dots for the bottom of the star.
Once the start shape is made, it's time to start filling in the star. Fill in each area but the top left side of the star should be left empty.
This will complete the white portion of the frosting.
Pipe medium dots of blue icing on the empty side of the star to complete the star shape.
Pipe red lines across the white to make it look like a flag. You can be creative here and pipe as many as you'd like.
Then, add the snacks.
Starting with the Chex mix, place them in the crevices of the star and around all the points.
Add the popcorn around the Chex mix and then add the corners on the corners.
Put the slices of strawberry between each cookie.
Lastly, add the chocolate bars randomly throughout and then add sprinkles to blend the blue portion of the star.
