separate the colors and put them into 5 bowls

light corn syrup
Instructions
Put 1/2 cup of the butter and 1/4 cup of the corn syrup into a saucepan on the stove. Heat to medium-high heat until melted.
Add one color of the Skittles. Once added, lower the heat to medium and stir until all the Skittles are melted.
Add the melted mixture to the popcorn. Toss to coat.
Spread the popcorn on a baking sheet or parchment paper to cool.
Repeat the above steps for each color of the Skittles.
Combine all the colored cooled popcorn in a bowl and serve.
