1-3ozbag of microwave popcorn10-13 cups of popped popcorn
2Cup(s)pretzels
½Cup(s)M&M'sI picked out the rainbow colors
1Cup(s)dehydrated cereal marshmallows
1Cup(s)green candy melts
Wilton gold food coloring spray
Instructions
Lay pretzels flat on wax paper, foil or other surface. Spray with gold food coloring spray until coated. Allow to dry, turn over and spray the other side.
In the bowl of a double boiler, melt the candy melts over low/medium heat for several minutes.
In a large bowl pour your candy melts over your popcorn and stir until the popcorn is evenly coated. Spread evenly across a cookie sheet or other flat surface and allow to cool.
Once the popcorn is cooled combine it with the pretzels, M&M's and marshmallows, mix thoroughly.
Notes
The marshmallows and M&M’s will settle to the bottom if not served immediately. If storing before serving you can sprinkle the M&M’s and marshmallows on the popcorn before the candy melts cool and they will stick together and create clumps and not settle as much. You can use traditionally popped popcorn, you need 10-13 cups. It can be seasoned as desired, but if it is drizzled with butter that may prevent the candy melts from coating evenly.
