taco seasoning

Mexican blend cheese

sour cream

medium onion

minced garlic
Instructions
Crumble and brown the ground beef in a skillet. Drain any excess grease.
Add the minced garlic and diced onion. Cook for 3 minutes or until the onions are translucent.
Add the taco seasoning and 2 cups of water. Stir and bring the mixture to a boil.
Turn down the heat, cover, and let it simmer for about 4 minutes.
Add the butter, two packets of rice, and the rest of the water.
Stir the mixture well, and bring it to a boil. Reduce the heat to simmer, cover, and let it simmer for about 7 minutes.
Stir in the salsa.
Turn off the heat and stir in sour cream and cheese.
Serve in a bowl or in tortillas.
