Instructions
To make the Deviled Eggs
Boil eggs for 10-12 mins with salt in the water.
Remove eggs from the stove and place them in a bowl with ice-cold water to stop the cooking.
While the eggs cool, grab your small bowls and add 1-2 drops of food gel to color them. If you want a deeper color, add 3-4 drops.
Next, add cool water to the bowl and stir it until the gel has dissolved and the water is an entirely new color. Ensure enough water covers all the eggs but does not spill over.
Now peel the shell off your eggs and cut the boiled eggs in half using a knife.
Use a spoon to scoop the egg yolks out of the eggs, place them in a bowl, and set them to the side.
Place egg whites into the colored water and let it sit for 5-10 minutes, depending on the shade you want to reach.
Take the eggs out and drain them on paper towels cavity side down.
Repeat the dipping steps for every color.
Now grab your bowl of egg yolks and add mayo, mustard, relish, salt, pepper, paprika, and mix.
Place the mix in a piping bag and Secure the end.
Now gather your colorful egg whites and lay them cavity-side up on a flat surface.
Cut a medium size hole on the tip of your piping bag and fill each egg cavity. If the egg whites are not dry, place the filling in the fridge until they are. You can sprinkle more paprika on top to give it a more flavor and fun look.
Your eggs are done. Place them in the fridge for later.
To make the Mozzarella Slices:
Grab your block of mozzarella cheese and slice it about 1/4 inch thick.
Lay the slices flat and use your chick cookie cutter to cut out the chick shape in the mozzarella pieces. Place them on a plate for later when assembling the board.
To make the Meat Rose:
Grab your cured meat slices and drink a glass to make your rose.
Start by folding 1 slice of meat over the rim of the glass, then lay another slice over the glass but make sure it overlaps the 1st slice of meat. You continue to fold and overlap the slices of meat over each other until you no longer see the opening of the glass. About 8 slices
Now turn the glass upside down on a flat surface and slowly lift it to release the flower.
Now it's time to assemble the board.
To Assemble the Charcuterie Board:
Make sure your board is clean and dry.
Gather all the items you are going to put on the board. The Deviled eggs, Meat Rose, Mozzarella Slices, Crackers, Trail Mix, and Chocolate Eggs.
Start by placing the rose in the middle of the board.
Next, add the deviled eggs around the rose. You can make a fun pattern or randomly place them. Be creative.
Add your mozzarella slices around the eggs and your bunny crackers in the open spaces.
Lastly, spread your trail mix and mini chocolate eggs in any remaining tiny spaces. Be sure to leave some room on the edges of the board so you can transfer your board to its serving place without anything falling off.
