Strawberry Simple Syrup Ingredients

1 Cup(s) of water
1 Cup(s) of granulated white sugar
1 Cup(s) of sliced strawberries

Chocolate Covered Strawberry Mocktail Ingredients:

1 tbsp strawberry simple syrup instructions below
2 tbsp chocolate syrup
1 Cup(s) of whole milk half-n-half or heavy cream
1 Cup(s) fresh strawberries
1-2 fresh strawberries sliced
*marshmallow cream only used in Hot Beverage

Instructions

Strawberry Simple Syrup:

To make strawberry simple syrup add one cup of water and one cup of granulated sugar into a sauce pot over med-high heat.
When the sugar water begins to boil add one cup of sliced strawberries.
Using a fork press on the strawberries to break them apart and release the juice.
Allow the mixture to come to a boil for one to two minutes.
Remove from heat and cover the pot with a tight-fitting lid.
Let the simple syrup steep for ten minutes.
Strain the mixture througha fine-mesh sieve into a bowl or Mason jar.
Place the lid on the Mason jar and store in the refrigerator or use immediately.

Hot Toddy Directions:

Add whole milk or another milk choice or milk substitute into a saucepan over med-high heat. When the milk begins to steam, add chocolate syrup.
Pour the chocolate milk into a serving glass and top with marshmallow creme.
Place a sliced strawberry on top of the marshmallow creme and drizzle a tablespoon of strawberry simple syrup.
Add Valentine's candy.
Serve.

Cold Mocktail Directions:

Add chilled cold whole milk or milk substitute into a glass, stir in two tablespoons of chocolate syrup. Mix until the milk and chocolate together.
Pour the chocolate milk into a serving glass and top with marshmallow creme.
Place a sliced strawberry on top of the marshmallow creme and drizzle a tablespoon of strawberry simple syrup.
Add Valentine's candy.
Serve.
