A is for Apple Painting Activity
This fun apple activity is a hands-on activity they're going to love! Not only will they learn about the letter A, but they'll also get to work on their counting skills, too.
Ingredients
- Red & Green apples cut in half
- Red Paint
- Green Paint
- Yellow Paint
- Paper
Instructions
- We used a piece of card stock with the number 1-10 written on it because we were also practicing counting.
- Have them put their half of the apple in the paint and then press the apples on the numbers and say them out loud as they do so.
- While they're doing this fun activity, work on some of these other educational activities, as well. They'll love singing the songs!
Notes
Not working on counting? You could write upper and lower case A's on the paper and have your child do one in red and the other in green. Get creative to make it fun!
