Slow Cooker Seven Layer Dip

Being able to make this Slow Cooker Seven Layer Dip is truly a treat. Not only does this creamy recipe taste amazing, but dare I say that it’s one of the best crockpot dips for football season as well?! I love the taste of this crock pot 7 layer dip because there are so many flavors and tastes.

Let the slow cooker do all the cooking when it comes to this simple dip recipe! This dip recipe provides a lot of layers that are perfect for dipping in chips!

Ingredients – Ground spicy pork sausage – Salt – Chili powder – Garlic powder – Cumin powder – Cooking spray – Refried beans – Mild green chilis – Salsa – Shredded Mexican cheese blend – Sour cream

Instructions 1. In a hot skillet, cook sausage until browned. 2. Combine salt & seasonings. Sprinkle over sausage while it's browning.

3. When sausage is cooked, remove from skillet and place on a plate lined with paper towels. Blot off excess oil.

4. Spray slow cooker with cooking spray. Spread refried beans across the bottom of slow cooker, then layer sausage. Sprinkle green chilis and spread salsa on top. Top with cheese. Cook on a high setting for 45-60 minutes.

5. When you're ready to serve, scoop out dip into individual bowls. Top with sour cream (about a tablespoon per person). Garnish with tomatoes & green onions.

6. Serve with your favorite tortilla chips.
