Tater Tot Casserole

This Tater Tot Casserole recipe is the perfect comfort food.  It includes all the gooey goodness that I think of when I think of home: sausage, cheese, potatoes.

  • 1 lb. ground sausage
  • 1 package frozen tater tots 2 lbs.
  • 10-12 slices Velveeta
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 eggs


  1. Preheat oven to 350

  2. Brown sausage in pan until completely cooked.

  3. Spread cooked sausage in bottom of 9 x 13 baking dish.

  4. Place cheese slices on top of the sausage, covering completely.

  5. Whisk 2 eggs & mix into the milk.

  6. Pour milk/egg mixture on top of cheeses in baking dish.

  7. Top the dish with tater tots in an even layer.

  8. Bake Tater Tot Casserole for about 1 hour at 350 degrees, until tater tots are browned and crispy on the top.

  9. Let sit for 5 minutes after baking. Enjoy!
