Recipe for a Strawberry Smoothie

Packed with fresh fruit, vitamins, calcium, protein, and fiber, this strawberry smoothie is a delicious and healthy way to start your day!

  • 1/2 cup fresh or frozen strawberries
  • 1/2 frozen banana
  • 1 cup plain unsweetened Greek yogurt (I used unsweetened vanilla Greek yogurt)
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 Tablespoons almond butter
  • 2 Tablespoons ground flax seed
  • 1 teaspoon spirulina optional


  1. Place all ingredients into a blender, cover with lid, and process on high until smooth.
  2. If a thicker consistency is desired, add ice. For a thinner consistency, add water.
  3. Pour into glasses, serve, and enjoy!
