Today is the 4th of July…. down in the Dirty South, that means BBQ Ribs, BBQ Chicken, Grilled Sausage, Potato Salad, Baked Beans, Corn on the Cob, Flag Cake, Watermelon, Homemade Ice Cream, Deviled Eggs, and whatever else someone decides to bring. That means a horrible plethora of temptation for someone like me!
However, it also means Family! It means a time for hanging out with my loved ones and doing fun July 4th Traditions like the Watermelon Festival and Fireworks at the Convalescent Home.
I am excited to start my day and I am going to try my hardest to just eat a little bit of my favorites. Also, if I stick to Watermelon and avoid all the other sweets, I should be ok.
As you can see, I have lost quite a bit since starting the #Cinchspiration plan. It is really amazing at what I can accomplish when I put my mind to it. Seriously, I told my husband that the Cinch Transformation Kit products are making a massive difference for me. The shakes are HUGE and fill me right up and keep me full all the way until the next meal. Plus, they are sweet! So, I am not missing out on all that. But, the biggest thing is that I got over the hump.
I have told you before that I am a junk food junkie. Seriously, if it didn’t make me fat I could eat just chips, chocolate, and Coke and be perfectly happy! However, I stopped and now I am not a huge fan of it. Since it has been basically a month since I hid in the bathroom with my daily count of junk food and I have lost about 12 pounds (because, remember I actually lost 4.4 pounds before starting this journey) I find that I don’t really want the junk. I have eaten some and didn’t really like it. Crazy, right?
Here is a picture I took on 06/18 and one I took last night on 07/03 in the exact same outfit. I can see the difference (sorry, they were taken on my cell phone in low light)
