All the time, my husband says he thinks that Annie doesn’t realize she is a dog. She is so spoiled that she doesn’t even like to eat the same thing every day! We have to switch her up between different food for small dogs and she LOVES it. What she doesn’t know is that we don’t just switch. She actually gets the same type things each day with a little something new thrown in for good measure and to make her think she is eating something different each meal.
Do not just totally switch the food for dogs up as it can irritate their little bellies! When transitioning from one food to another, please remember to introduce the new food gradually so as not to upset your dog’s stomach.
- For the first two days or so, your dog’s meals should be about 75% old food and 25% new food. Mix the two foods together, don’t keep them separated.
- If the first couple of days of the transition go smoothly, you can mix 50% of your dog’s old food with 50% of the new food on days 3 and 4.
- On days 5 and 6, your dog’s meals should be about 75% new food and only 25% of the old food.
- On day 7 let your dog enjoy 100% of the new Cesar dog food!
Annie really is a little picky and we always try to get her the best dog food around. She especially likes for us to mix some Cesar Meaty Selects in with her favorite dry dog food. With it’s plastic top, we can portion out a small amount and not worry about the remaining bit ruining! The spoiled dear loves the Grilled Chicken flavor the best!
You can spoil your little 4 legged darling, too! Right now you can print a B1G1 Cesar Meaty Selects coupon! B1G1 Cesar Meaty Selects Canine Cuisine printable or this one B1G1 Cesar Meaty Selects Canine Cuisine printable
Be sure to follow Cesar Canine Cuisine on Facebook and keep your eyes peeled over there as they also sometimes offer coupons on their facebook fan page!
