My family and I have been huge VeggieTales fans for awhile now. I have to admit I was a bit late to joining the VeggieTales fan base, but after we had the distinct pleasure of reviewing VeggieTales The House That Stood that changed everything. We are now fans of the VeggieTales and will be for years to come. When we got the chance to watch their new  Celery Night Fever  movie it inspired us to make the tie dyed rice krispie treats. I knew you’d love to make them too.

VeggieTales Recipe

Be sure to click the image above to download a printable version of the recipe AND the instructions for a fun psychedelic celery experiment!  As homeschooling parents we know that you don’t want to “just watch a movie” even one as great as a VeggieTales movie without making it fun AND a little educational.  So, make a day of it.  Dress up in disco fun, make some yummy tie-dyed treats, and watch the movie while your celery is doing it’s thing!

Where to Find Celery Night Fever:

DVD: Celery Night Fever

SOUNDTRACK: Celery Night Fever

You can gain more information about VeggieTales by visiting their website. You can also connect with them on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest and Instagram.

My kids and I really enjoyed this little movie. It’s a great resource to teach my kids about forgiveness. I love how it taught my kids about how they should practice forgiveness with those who have harmed them. However, it also touched on the fact that God provides forgiveness for us too.

More VeggieTales Fun:

Don’t miss my husband’s exciting announcement over on Tidbits of Experience! On top of that I’ll be sharing even more VeggieTales activities on both blogs for some time to come. There are plenty more ideas like these worth sharing.

DISCLAIMER:  I was given  many different things to share with you, like the recipe and printable was provided by VeggieTales, and  a day with the cast in Nashville, but any opinions stated is my own.
