#1. While heading to Savannah, the Savannah Children’s Museum is a must see. The whole family can stay busy, plus the perfect place to explore and play.

#2. Savannah Historic District – The history of Savannah is very rich and diverse. Taking the whole family on a walk of the historic district is something you will want to do.

#3. Reynolds Square – The cool part about Savannah is the history that goes with it. Get an up close and personal view of Savannah’s amazing history by visiting Reynolds Square. #4. Savannah River Street is the perfect place to enjoy your evening as a family. The buildings are old and the views are just right.

#5. Georgia State Railroad Museum is a kid friendly thing to do in Savannah, Georgia. My kids are obsessed with everything trains.

#6. Fort Pulaski National Monument Just outside Savannah on the water is Fort Pulaski a Civil War era fort that saw battle and the history there is tangible. My sure you take your kids to get their National Park Junior Ranger badges.

#7. Oatland Island Wildlife Center  is a place in Savannah that you can take the whole family. Wildlife is beautiful to watch, especially when the whole family can join in.

#8. Savannah Riverboat Cruises – Has your family always wanted to go on a cruise? Now you can take the whole family on a riverboat cruise, while in Savannah.

#9. Telfair Museum Jepson Center is a great place to learn and play while in Savannah, GA. Every once in a while, they also have Free Family Fridays.

#10. The Mighty 8th Air Force Museum – If you drive on I-95 in Savannah you will see a huge airplane next to the road. This is that museum you can get up close and personal to those plans.

#11. Forsyth Park – Want to do something free with the family in Savannah, GA? Head to Forsyth Park for some family fun. You can even ride bikes in this park with the family. This is the famous park with the walk way of oak trees and the famous fountain.
