There is a new kids app coming out today that you all might want to check out. A fun little sticker book app where the kids can use stickers to create their own story. Most kids LOVE to use stickers, so this concept should be a popular one! Tricky Stories: Magic Castle – Enchanted Sticker Book Powered by Your Imagination is an app created to help your kids develop their creativity.
The app starts off in a fairy tale land called the Magic Castle. It is a forest filled with creatures who move around and interact with your child. Your child can then pull stickers off the side of the page and add new creatures and items to their world.
Whether they want the knight to slay the dragon and save the princess, or have a pirate find a treasure chest, they can make it all come alive in their very own story.
Once your child is done creating their new story, they can take a picture of their sticker creation and save it to look at later.
– Interactive backgrounds with fun animations and sounds
– Variety of stickers to place in the Magic Castle
– Friendly animal characters to play with in the Forest
– Camera to snap your photos and to collect them in your photo album
– Trees, clouds, sun and rainbow come to life when you tap on them
– Shake your device to let fruits and flowers fall from the trees
This app is designed for kids aged 2+. I have found that kids this age love to see what will happen if I do “this”. So this app is great for that because they just need to touch the items in the forest and they come to life. Even the trees and rainbow!
When making the items come to life, like the rainbow, it also played music. The faster you tapped finger on the rainbow, the faster the stars came out and the faster the music played. This was pretty cute and the kids seemed to love it.
Just tap a tree to add fruit, nuts and flowers to the tree. Then shake the device to watch them fall out. The kids got a big kick out of that. Plus tapping on the animals to see what they would say or do was fun for them. The sleeping bear woke up and the cute little fox ran away. Tons of cute forest animals to explore in this app.
One negative to the app was that after playing with the animals and other items and having them interact with the child, they expected the “stickers” to do the same thing. But they very quickly understood that the rules were a little different in the sticker section of the app.
Kids love to take pictures, so being able to take a picture of their creation when they were done to save for later was also a great aspect of this app. The kids loved to show people what they made.
Overall this app is a great one for the kids to build their creativity in this sticker book world. The price is right and the kids should have lots of fun with it.
