My kids LOVE fruit, so we were excited to try out this awesome freeze-dried fruit!
About Crispy Green (from their website)
“At Crispy Green, we believe in a simple philosophy: keep it pure, keep it tasty and keep it wholesome. This has been and will always be the guiding principle of our continuing product development.
The company was founded in August 2004 with a vision to be the leading provider of high quality, all natural snack food products desired by everyone who wants to live a healthier and better life.
During the summer of 2005, we introduced our Crispy Green® line of single ingredient products, made with real fruit, real taste, nothing else®, using the latest freeze-drying technology. Our high quality packaging and unique branding strategy had helped Crispy Green’s Crispy Fruit quickly become one of the leading premium, freeze-dried fruit snacks in the marketplace.
We’re proud to differentiate our products through quality and innovation. Over the years, we developed and introduced several new flavors to our Crispy Green line of dehydrated fruit products. In early 2009, we created Strawberry FruitziO – the first product in our new, exciting line of freeze-dried fruit snacks with just a hint of pure cane sugar.
Crispy Green is proud to be a Community Partner of the USDA Center for Nutrition Policy and Promotion Nutrition Communicators Network and a sponsor of Fruits & Veggies More Matter Program.”
We got an awesome assortment to try out the different freeze-dried fruits! My kiddos loved having yummy fruit to take to school for a healthy snack (as did I)! Their favorites were the apricots, apples, and bananas. My favorites were the mangoes, kiwis, strawberries and bananas (I love to eat them together), peaches and pineapples. We all loved the apricots, so they went pretty fast! YUM! The texture is fantastic! The taste is a lot like eating the regular fruit! It wasn’t like baby food, which some dried products taste like. The pineapple, kiwi and strawberries were nice and tangy, just like they should be! We are all big fans, and will be getting more!
