Recipe: Make Your Own Snow Cones

Sharing is caring!

It is barely even Summer and my boys are already asking if we can stop at the local snow cone place or flag down the ice cream man so they can spend my hard earned money on over-priced, frozen sugar. I decided to bring the snow cone place and ice cream man on into my house and have the boys help me whip up some snow cones.

Thanks for the simple recipe. I have never made snow cones at home myself, but will now try it following your instructions. Let me see how good they taste.

Putting ice in the blender to make the snow is a great idea if your blender can handle it. I haven't thought to try before, and I should see if mine would be able to try. I always hear how ice cubes help sharpen garbage disposal blades, does that work the same way with blenders blades?

Yum! I had to check out this one because I used to spend my summers making snowcones at my families snowcone business. I'll have to try this out!
