Back to the amazing Pumpkin Spice Muddy Buddies, though, because I don’t want to lose sight of the perfection that is this particular recipe, just because I love puppy chow, no matter how it comes.

How to Make Pumpkin Spice Puppy Chow

This is seriously one of the easiest treat recipes you’ll ever make. The basic instructions are to melt your candy melts or white chocolate chips, although in this situation, we’re using pumpkin baking truffles (or pumpkin chocolate chips, but not…so confusing).

Then, you mix in your rice chex cereal, or you can use cinnamon chex, I think that tastes divine. Some people add peanut butter too, but I don’t bother, because, I mean, why?!

Then, you just put your powdered sugar (and maybe some pumpkin pie spice) in a zipper bag with the cereal and toss.

Spread it out to allow it to dry, maybe sprinkle some additional confectioners sugar on it, if you like to, then enjoy.

I put this out in a big bowl on the counter and just let the kids have it as a snack sometimes and, I swear, I’ve never seen a snack disappear so fast! It’s like they know I’m making it and they sneak through the house, grabbing a handful and disappearing like little ninjas.

Ninjas that love sweets, who would have thought?!
