Sharing is caring!

I am always on the hunt for ways to instill good values into my kids and what better place to find some of the greatest virtues than the book of Proverbs?

There are so many great Proverbs for Students in the Bible to share with a teach our children.  But, memorization can be hard without adding movement.

That is why I love these Proverbs 15:1 coloring pages to help my children with memorizing these values and living a Proverbs life!

Proverbs 15.1 Coloring Page

Proverbs 15:1 teaches our children to be mindful of the words and tone we use when communicating.  Our children should always remember that being calm and kind will often spark kindness in others but being mean or hateful will cause us to receive the same in return.

A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger. – Proverbs 15:1

This is one I struggle with! I like the adult version of these Proverbs 15:1 coloring pages to help me remember.

I was given the gift of words, unfortunately it is a constant struggle for me to remember to use my words for good rather than revenge.  To remember to go calm and kind in moments of adversity, rather than fighting back.  But, life is much easier and more rewarding when I don’t let the devil turn my tongue fiery and it is up to us parents to help our children see this as well.
