I kind of got carried away planning for our vacation and after deciding on several games and toys I want the boys to have (not that they will get more than 1 or 2 TOTAL), I got to thinking of more educational things from Fishing (hey it is educational LOL!) OK, so it isn’t “actually” educational, but it kind of is. Think Physical Education.
If you aren’t on Pinterest and would like to be, simply email me with your email address in the body and I will send an invite right on over! Click the screen shot below to see the items that I would like to have for our cabin that I have deem educational in some way.
Gonna Learn at the Cabin: Each year, when we go to the cabin, we go visit the Gulf Islands National Seashore Bird Sanctuary and stuff. However, we have never had any guides with us to help us identify the different plants, birds, and other animals we see. So, I think it would be a good idea to get us some books. We also like to have some quiet time in the evenings and I think some movies and books on the history of Mississippi would be really great!
Now, I have to try to decide on one or two things to buy for the cabin trip this year so that we can have a Summer to Remember!
