Valentine’s Day is officially the season of pink and red, and personally, we love it. There’s no doubt that your girlfriend or wife absolutely loves it too. Or, for us singletons at this time of year, our best girlfriends will also most likely love a little themed gift to show them how much we care.
We’ve compiled a list of some of our favorite Valentine’s Day pink and red themed gifts that are guaranteed to put a smile on the special lady in your life’s face.
Pink and red roses bouquet
The height of romance and luxury has to be a gigantic bouquet of roses, and the ones we found at gettingpersonal.co.uk have to be our favorite as they include both red and pink ones, therefore slaying the competition. If you wanted something extra to go with it, a lovely new vase would be a great way to finish the present off, and will mean she’ll have something to display her lovely new flowers in.
Pink and red makeup
Makeup is a bit of a risky one if you’re not too sure what you’re doing, yet the Valentine’s Day theme will help a lot, as you can just opt for something pink or red! We love the range of red lipsticks from MAC cosmetics, and the pink nail varnishes from Essie which are sure to make your special lady feel very glam. They’re the perfect option for a friend Valentine’s Day gift, too, if you’re celebrating the holiday with your best mates.
Another truly luxurious gift with the added bonus that it’s perfect for sharing is a swish bottle of pink champagne. You could even opt for a gift set that includes truffles or a new champagne flute for her to enjoy it from. We love this bottle of pink champagne from John Lewis, as it looks extra sophisticated and special. Mini bottles are just as nice however if your budget doesn’t quite stretch to a large bottle.
Pink and red candles
Help your special lady create the perfect, relaxed Valentine’s Day atmosphere after a long day by giving her some lovely pink and red candles for her to put around the bath as she soaks her stresses away. You can’t really go wrong with a selection of Yankee Candles, though you could go for some that are a bit more unique with an attractive votive. Even little pink or red tea lights make a nice extra detail for your night of romance.
Pink and red nightwear
Another slightly risky one is the option of nightwear. However, if you’re careful about what you choose, it can be a really lovely gift that she’ll really appreciate. Don’t automatically go for something you’d love to see her in – think about something she’d feel great wearing. A nice, luxurious chemise may be a really good choice as they can be a little sexy but comfy, too. Soft pinks are usually a winner as they’re not as ‘in-your-face’ as red alternatives.
