Menu Plan Monday Week Four

We are now four weeks into the year and our menu planning is working.  Woot!  My husband and I (as well as my youngest son) are sorta on diets.  I say “sorta” because we aren’t really eating healthier type things.  We are really just being more careful about what we put into our bodies.  We are eating actual servings instead of just getting a bowl or plate full.  We have cut out fried chips & now only have baked chips.  We have cut out all soft drinks.  Just being a bit more careful and it is working.  I have lost 7 pounds and my husband about 16 pounds!

It is amazing how meal planning makes such a difference in our budget!  I had forgotten… so glad we are back on it!

Please tell us all about “Shake That Chicken” and “Cheesy Cheddar Boats” – I am guessing that I would LOVE both of these things!

I hope that cough clears up soon!

Why have I not thought of making Italian meatloaf lately??? That’s a great idea! Especially since there would be leftovers! Garlic bread is something else I haven’t thought of for a long time. Thanks for the tip!

We’re working our way through chicken soup/stew leftovers right now. I still have to plan the rest of the week.
