Little Orphan Annie is Better than Chocolate

Sharing is caring!

annie and IFor many of us, our four-legged friends hold a unique place in the family dynamic and Annie is no exception.  She greats me, with unmatched enthusiasm!  If I am down in the dumps, she will snuggle her little warm body up to me.

While she isn’t a Therapy Dog, Annie is my own little slice of sweetness! My Husband says that she believes she is Human and always laughs at how she is with me. The picture on the right shows the two of us in Pasadena California at the Beverly Hills Chihuahua 3 screening.

As a blogger with a Dog, I have had the opportunity to meet many Therapy Dogs and their owners (or friends).  I am just amazed at how well these little guys do their jobs!  Cesar believes that a relationship with a dog can truly improve every life, including people in need. Dogs are capable of lowering stress, anxiety and even blood pressure.  I agree 100%!

I want you to meet a blogger friend of mine that I finally had the pleasure of meeting in real life this past Summer.  Libby is just the sweetest thing!  She had a brain injury that causes different problems for her, so she has a Service Dog.  Gabe, is an absolute darling and I have seen him do his job with Libby.

In addition to helping her with balance issues and severe allergies, Gabe is there to help Libby come out of her shell and meet the world.  The two of them put me in awe!   Please take a bit to jump to her site to learn all about Her and Gabe!

Libby – I stole your picture off your site, I hope you don’t mind!

Gabe and Libby are not the only partnership out there and these guys need all the help they can get.  Cesar created the Share a Story and Share the Love initiative, a social media campaign to help support and spotlight therapy dog organizations, to ensure people in need continue to receive the powerful benefits of a dog’s unconditional love.

The Share a Story and Share the Love campaign encourages dog lovers to share the heartwarming stories of therapy dogs through their social media communities such as Facebook and Twitter. In return, Cesar will share the love with three therapy dog organizations through donations that help continue the services they provide to people in need.

I wrote this review while participating in an ambassador program by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Cesar and received product samples and a promotional item to thank me for taking the time to participate.

Though she isn't a true therapy dog my mom adopted a dog after losing my step dad to cancer. She may not be a real therapy dog but its been a type of therapy for my mom to have her.

There's nothing like the love of a pet. And therapy dogs are so helpful.
