I have lived in Oshkosh, Wisconsin my entire adult life and a portion of my childhood. Raising a family in Oshkosh, Wisconsin has provided so many great opportunities for my children through the wonderful attractions and kid-friendly activities.  We hardly get bored, since there is always something to do.

Explore the various parks located throughout the city

Enjoy nature and the lakefront at the Asylum Point Lighthouse or Wiowash State Trail.

Take in some semi-pro baseball with the Oshkosh Giants. If you are a big baseball fan check out the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders, Wisconsin Timberrattlers, or Milwaukee Brewers, which are all within a short drive.

Get Wet at the South Park Splash Pad.

Explore Menominee Park! An amazing park where you can ride a bike on the trails, enjoy some time on and in the water, visit the amusement area, play in one of the playground areas, visit the animals in the zoo and catch a snack at the concession stand. You can spend a whole day here!

Become cultured taking in Oshkosh’s rich history at the Oshkosh Public Museum or the Paine Art Center and Gardens.

Indulge in some treats from Tamara’s, Oaks Candy, Caramel Crisp & Cafe, Leon’s Frozen Custard, or Ardy and Ed‘s. A great place for lunch with the kids is at Fox River Brewing Company or Ground Round where you can eat outside on the river.

Learn about flight at the EAA Airventure Museum. If you are lucky to be in Oshkosh at the end of July, be sure the check out EAA Airventure. The daily world-class air shows are a must!
