Where were you when the United States was attacked?
I was at work! 
I remember hearing the live feed on the radio and thinking “how unfortunate” when the first plane hit.
I remember being in shock when the second plane hit.
I remember being scared when the 3rd plane went down!
I remember being terrified when our local news stations told us that the Naval Shipyard was possibly next under attack – the place my Father worked…
I remember leaving work as quickly as possible and driving home to sit in front of the TV for the next several days.
I remember getting my kids and hugging them and crying.
I remember listening to the screams and watching the videos in horror!
I remember feeling extreme American Pride at the way we banded together.
I remember feeling pure shame at the way certain Americans were treated just because of their Religious beliefs!
I remember… Do you?

I remember. My mother called and told us to turn on the TV. Then, we saw the second plane hit. It was scary, but we knew it was an attack, when we saw that second one.
Friends came over to watch the news on tv. No one could believe it. No one wanted to be alone.
