Thank you for sharing! I would also like to share that according to Facebook’s own terms and conditions you must be 13 or older to sign up for Facebook. It seems to me that some parents may not realize this and give their kids the okay to be on the site, when in order to do so they have to lie about their age (which is a very dangerous online practice!) I recently did a post on my blog about the same topic. Except that it was for a kids gaming site that my 10 year old daughter was on. I set her account up allowing only a safe chat, but crafty little thing that she is, she figured out how to change that setting. Unfortunately, that led to her giving out our home address…which culminated in her losing her computer, and not being allowed to play outside without an adult.. Now she has it back with limited access to only the sites that I approve, but as a mom it scared me to death! Great article and have a wonderful week!

It’s a scary place out there. For adults, I have notice that there are certain people that I don’t want to share all my information with. So I restrict them in my settings. This way unless I make it “public” they don’t see it.
