Halloween Puppy Chow Recipe

Make certain that you have a microwave-safe bowl that’s a large bowl so that you can get all the ingredients stirred together and coated! Don’t forget to add in the googly eyes!

My boys love anytime that I make puppy chow but they really love this simple puppy chow recipe because of the spooky and tasty eyes. They’ll always love this recipe no matter how old they get!

How do you store puppy chow?

You want to keep the Chex cereal as fresh as possible. This means that you need to store it in an airtight container. You don’t have to store it in the fridge either.

I like to change things up a bit sometimes and I’ve added in white chocolate chips and even some candy corn as well. Have fun with the mix-ins, you can easily change up the recipe any way that you want!

Halloween Puppy Chow Recipe

Prep Time: 15 minutes
Total Time: 15 minutes

This Halloween Puppy Chow Recipe is a fast and simple snack mix recipe for everyone to love.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups of chex cereal
  • 1 pack of green candy melts
  • 1 cup of powdered sugar
  • Candy Eyes

Instructions

Add 1/2 cup of the powdered sugar into a sealable bag.

Pour the Chex cereal into a bowl. Set to the side.

In a different bow melt the candy melts according the directions on the bag.

Once melted, pour over the cereal. Stir to coat.

Pour in the rest of powdered sugar and shake to coat.

Once coated, dump out onto a baking sheet. Pour in the candy eyes.
