I was given the Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition game to review in exchange for an honest blog review but that in no way shaped my opinion of this game.
My husband requests the opportunity to review all video games, so I approved getting this game to review without really telling him what it was about. Come to find out that he’s not a huge fan of Mexican fighting games. However, that did not stop him from giving it an overall review for me. (He wants to get his hands on as many video games as he can because he wants to be known for that!)
About the Game
Drinkbox Productions created Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition game. Del put this game on his Xbox 360 system. However you can get this game for PS4, XBOX One, and the WiiU too.

This game reminded Del of an early version of Street Fighter side scroll arcade game. It was centralized around a Mexican fighting scene. The controls were okay. The story plot gave off an interesting interaction with the characters. The graphics were so-so.
This game did not really overly impress him. However, that could be because this is not his typical type of game to play. He did stress that he would have expected to find this kind of game in an arcade setting far more than on an Xbox 360 game. He stated that if you are a fan of Mexican fighting games then you will enjoy playing this game. He gave it a rating of a five on a ten scale rating system where ten is highest.
As a bystander who watches my husband play a lot of his games, this game was really boring to watch. I thought that the graphics were a bit much to look at and the colors were very loud to look at. It was hard for me stay interested. I can see a different audience loving this game, but it wasn’t a good fit for our family.
