This Frosty Hawaiian Mocktail recipe is very similar to a Blue Hawaiian cocktail, except it has no rum. 🙂  In our home, we have zero alcohol. None, not a drop.  However, I do like to have an occasional drink if my husband and I go out for a special occasion.

I am all about some fruity drinks.  Consequently, I love to make mocktails for kids when at home.  I can share my fun and fruity concoctions with my kids and my husband (who doesn’t drink AT ALL).

Frosty Hawaiian Mocktail Recipe for Kids

You could really dress this pretty drink up with a fun umbrella or blueberries!  For me, it reminds me of a pretty Frosty the Snowman, what about you?

Ingredients:

The following ingredients are affiliate links on Amazon because they may be a bit hard to find in your normal store.  I wanted you to be able to see exactly which things we are using.

  • Blue Curacao
  • Pineapple Coconut Juice
  • Orange Bitters

I haven’t linked all the ingredients above, just the more difficult to find ones.

Author: Kelli Miller
Ingredients
  • 1 ounce Blue Curacao
  • 2 dashes Orange bitters
  • 3 ounces Pineapple Coconut Juice
  • Ice
Instructions
  1. In the bottom of a serving glass add blue Curacao, then add ice.
  2. Into a cocktail shaker add two (2) dashes or orange bitters and pineapple coconut juice, and ice.
  3. Secure the lid and shake for 20 seconds.
  4. Slowly strain the mixture over the back of a large tablespoon over ice and blue Curacao.
  5. Serve.

Recommended Tools:

  • Glasses
  • Shaker
  • Picks
  • Strainer
  • Strawberry Slicer

A great (and pretty) mocktail takes a stash of a few fun tools like the ones listed above.  So, if you are planning to make cocktails and mocktails when entertaining, it would make sense to create your own little bar box!  This way, you are prepared when the unexpected guest drops in.

This drink is so yummy! It took us a while to find out though because at first we didn’t want to drink it since it was so pretty!

I wonder if I could make the blue stuff from scratch to avoid going to another store this month. Haha.

This yummy Frosty Hawaiian Mocktail recipe was a hit with my young nieces and nephews! It really does conjure up the fantastic tropical flavors of Hawaii. The authentic taste takes me back to my family’s fun vacation on the beaches of gorgeous Oahu.

Forget the kids, this one is for me! I LOVE mocktails. I don’t drink either and these delicious Hawaiian flavors are just right for holiday parties. Thanks for the recipe!

This is a very pretty drink. Have you ever tried using a mixture of pineapple juice and coconut milk? Those items are usually easier to find in the store.

Um, curacao liquer does have alcohol content – 15 to 40% depending. Leaving out the rum is good, but this is not alcohol free!

Kelli, what a pretty kiddie cocktail. I remember feeling so special as a little girl when mom and dad would order me a Shirley Temple! This would have been my go-to mocktail if they’d had it way back then!
