You can certainly add mushrooms, but I would add them right before cooking as sometimes the freezer can make mushrooms rubbery.

I’m really getting into meal planning and I just love meals that I can freeze for later for those days when things just get a bit too crazy. My kids and I just love pasta meals so I am sure that this will be a massive hit with my family.
Thank you for giving the recipe along with instructions for freezing! I’m just wondering about adding mushrooms into this dish? I am such a fan of mushrooms and add them into everything I can!
