But back to the ultimate bean dip. If you’re not sure about it yet, you need to look at those pictures again.

All. That. Cheese.

Like literally refried beans, cream cheese, mixed with RoTel (one of my favorite ingredients–those tomatoes with green chiles are everything), taco seasoning (not chili powder–trust me) and cheddar jack cheese (or monterey jack, I’m not judging), served with tortilla chips.

Serve it immediately or keep it warm in the slow cooker, it’s going to travel well and everything.

So much better than store bought bean dips, you’ll love this creamy cheesy refried bean dip you can make in just 20 minutes.

Its seriously so perfect. Garnish with green onions and sour cream and you’re making a dip that’s drool worthy.

How Long Does Bean Dip Last?

Normal bean dip in a can from the grocery store seems to last forever. But that kind of worries me, so I like to make my own.

The addition of cheeses and tomatoes into my bean dip not only make it more tasty, but then it also makes the dip have a little bit less of a shelf-life.

In an airtight container, in the refrigerator, you should expect your bean dip to last 12-15 days.

If you’d like it to last a little longer, you can put that same airtight container into the freezer and it’ll last 3-5 months.
